A virtual Volvo showroom.
Microsoft and Volvo are collaborating on the use of HoloLens holographic technology. The Swedish automotive corporation wants to use it, among others, to show cars to prospective customers. The holographic technique is to change the approach of showrooms to presentation of Volvo cars. The demonstration of the HoloLens holographic computer was organized by the two companies at the headquarters of Microsoft in Redmond.Easy installation of SMATV systems - radial multiswitches with 32 outputs.
On the satellite TV market there is a strong demand for multi-output radial multiswitches, but due to technological reasons only a few producers can meet stringent quality requirements. The market leader in this field is TERRA, which has launched in the market the new MR-932L (32-output) and MR-924L (24-output) multiswitches. An undoubted advantage of the MR-9XXL multiswitches is the division of the outputs into groups with diverse signal levels. With different lengths of the cables in SMATV systems, the diversification allows for equalizing signal levels in outlets located at the different distances from the multiswitch. Additionally, the multiswitches compensate the higher attenuation of coaxial cables at higher frequencies. To enable the use of the MR-9XXL multiswitches in systems with return channels, the manufacturer has equipped them with passive return paths (5-862 MHz).
- 9/32 multiswitches for systems with radial topology
- Built-in cable loss correction
- Groups of outputs with different output levels
- Isolation between inputs better than 30 dB
- Powering of optional terrestrial TV preamplifier
- Active terrestrial TV path with LTE filter (47-790 MHz)
- Passive terrestrial TV path (5-862 MHz)
- Built-in AC/DC adapter
- Die-cast housing guarantying high screening efficiency (class A)
Too low GSM signal in a home or other premises.
A basic scheme of GSM antenna system suitable for homes and businesses, allowing normal use of mobile phones in situations where the signal inside a building is too low for reliable communication, is shown below. The installation allows users to have phone conversations and use mobile Internet (GPRS) in the building. The advantage of this solution is to maintain the mobility of the phones - they are still connected wirelessly.- Trans-Data GSM/DCS/UMTS KYZ8.2/9.5 antenna A741030.
- GSM repeater Signal GSM-305 A6765.
- Two-way GSM splitter A6812.
- The antenna is responsible for receiving and transmitting signals from/to base station.
- The splitter distributes amplified GSM signals between two indoor GSM antennas.

Protection of the home LAN.
Nowadays the home network can include several computers, televisions, network drives, consoles, media players etc. Along with the expansion of the network and due to a considerable cost of the devices, the importance of network protection against overvoltages is much higher.
New graphical interface of Sunell IP cameras.
After upgrading the firmware of Sunell IP cameras above the version 1.9, the users get a refreshed graphical interface. Compared with the previous one, the new interface allows for easier navigation through the menu and simplifies the configuration of the cameras. After logging in to the camera via a web browser, the user has access to the setup functions directly via the bottom menu bar. The configuration options are also available by right clicking on the live viewing window. The options include:- stream settings,
- shutter control,
- gain control,
- IR LED intensity adjustment,
- D-WDR adjustment,
- AE measurement,
- mirror image,
- corridor mode,
- noise reduction.
What an infrared camera sees?
"Normal" analog or IP cameras used in video monitoring systems capture visible and (usually in night mode) near infrared radiation (in total: 300-950 nm) reflected from the objects in the field of view. The sources of the radiation can be the daylight or artificial lighting systems, including IR illuminators. Thermal imaging cameras work properly without any additional source of lighting. Their principle of operation is quite different than that of traditional cameras. Each body with a temperature above absolute zero emits infrared radiation. Thanks to the relationship between temperature and the intensity and spectral characteristics of the radiation, taking into consideration the features of the emitting surfaces, the image from an infrared camera can show the distribution of temperature on the surfaces of the objects in the field of view, so it can be graduated in temperature scale divisions.AHD Service Monitor MS-35AHD M3105 greatly simplifies the configuration of CCTV systems based on AHD cameras. The device allows, among other things, for quick setting of the camera lenses. Another advantage of the monitor is the ability to supply a camera or other device with 12 VDC (max load 300 mA).
HD-TVI TURBO HD Camera Hikvision DS-2CE56C0T-IT3 M7521 has been designed for use in CCTV systems based on HD-TVI DVRs. The camera provides 720p video. With sensitivity of 0.1 lx and built-in IR illuminator with range up to 20 m, the camera provides high quality images in low light or even no-light conditions (with IR).
9/8 Multiswitch: TERRA MV-908L R70858 has been designed as a component for medium and large 9-cable SMATV systems, also in multi-staircase buildings (with division into subnetworks). Used separately and powered from the local power supply R71465, it can also be used in individual systems with up to 8 outlets. The active DVB-T path has LTE filter for eliminating unwanted signals in 800 MHz band (791-862 MHz) coming from LTE services. The adjustment of the SAT IF and DVB-T (47-790 MHz) gain is made with dedicated switches. In comparison with potentiometers, this solution increases stability of the adjustments.
