AI will create videos based on text description.
An international research group has developed a tool capable of generating videos based on text inputs and video repositories. To quickly create high-quality videos, users no longer need to have any video editing knowledge or use expensive software. The tool analyzes video recordings available in the repository and selects images that best match the text introduced by the user. Scene description is analyzed using NLP (natural language processing) techniques and semantic methods that allow to match words to appropriate shots. Subsequently, the video is optimized through automatic frame cuts and swaps. The scenes can be "manually" modified by using specific keywords to slow down the action or change the number of cuts.Security certificates for CCTV network devices.
All monitoring systems that can be accessed via the Internet are vulnerable to the risk of cyberattacks. This applies both to strategic systems and simple installations. Hackers attempt to attack online devices taking advantage of privacy loopholes to get a preview or even take control of the hardware and e.g. use it for further attacks. Apart from introducing appropriate security measures, it is also essential that the devices are built based on state-of-the-art cybersecurity knowledge, attested to by certificates awarded to equipment producers by independent certification bodies.- ISO 270001,
- ISO 9001: 2008,
- CMMI Level 5,
- AICPA SOC,
- FIPS 140-2, which applies to data encryption in IP cameras and NVRs, and was commissioned by the US government.

Mounting license plate recognition cameras.
To ensure maximum performance, license plate recognition cameras, such as e.g DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P (2.8 - 12 mm) K17893 or DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P (8 - 32 mm) K17894, should be properly mounted to capture the image of the license plate of the passing car. Before choosing the appropriate spot, the following aspects must be considered: the optimal viewing angle of the front of the vehicle, the number of pixels in the license plate, and the distance from the detection site. Below, you can find the basic installation requirements that must be met when mounting Hikvision license plate recognition cameras:- the width of the image of license plate should be within 130 - 300 pixels (optimum: 150-200 pixels);
- maximum vertical viewing angle: 30°;
- maximum horizontal viewing angle: 30°;
- the angle difference between the horizontal edge of the image and the horizontal edge of the plate (tilt) should not exceed +/-5°.

| X - mounting height, Y - ground distance from the mounting site to the detection site, Z - actual distance from the camera to the detection site. | |
Optical fibers - WDM or duplex connections?
When selecting devices for fiber-optic transmission, installers can choose between those working with one (WDM) or two fibers (duplex). The choice is usually dictated by two factors: the availability of fibers in the cable and the price. However, it is also worth considering one more, strictly technical aspect: the use of one or two wavelengths.

Multiple HDMI transmitters in one network.
As per standard, only one HDMI-to-IP transmitter can be used in a single network. This is because the producer has set the same network configuration in each transmitter. Users cannot change the address settings of HDMI devices. As a result, if two transmitters are used, an IP address conflict occurs, which disrupts the operation of the network.

Wireless Motion Detector (PIR): Pyronix KX12DQ-WE G01415 is a wireless passive motion detector with a quadruple pyroelectric element. Advanced functions such as digital temperature compensation, automatic sensitivity adjustment, and the Blue Wave technology make it suitable for use in commercial and residential buildings alike. The hermetic optical system guarantees that the pyroelectric sensor is protected against insects, air flow, and the light reflected from components inside the housing.
Gigabit Switch: Mercusys MS105G (5xGE) finds widespread use in small computer networks. Its Auto MDI/MDIX function allows the installer to stop worrying about the problem of "straightforward" or "crossover" cables.
HD-TVI TURBO HD 4.0 Dome Camera: Hikvision DS-2CE71D8T-PIRL M75398 is a camera intended for CCTV systems based on HD-TVI DVRs, which generates a high-quality 1080p image. With its high sensitivity (0.005 lx) and a built-in IR illuminator with a range up to 20 m (EXIR 2.0 technology), the camera ensures high-quality recordings and excellent parameters even in low light conditions.
