Another speed record!
The latest achievement of the UCL (University College London) scientists and employees of Xter and KDDI Research meets with great admiration from those dealing with network data transmission. The team succeeded in sending data at a rate of 178 Tbps over a distance of 40 km using a single-mode optical fiber for transmission.
The entire Netflix library can be downloaded in seconds at this speed.
New graphical interface in the K series DVRs.
For the K serieswww.dipolnet.com/6711.htm***, e.g. DS-7608NI-K2 K22074, the 4.30.005 firmware is available that changes completely the appearance of the DVR’s graphical interface and introduces a number of improvements. With that version the DVR can be logged in from the latest versions of such browsers as IE, Chrome or Firefox. The DVR now supports cameras with motion detection v2.0 (DS-2CD (23/2T/26) 2 (4/8) 6G2/SL) and enables configuration of filtering such events such as: human or vehicle entry from the local GUI interface, internet browser and iVMS-4200. An option to search for events via Hik-Connect, two-way audio with a camera connected to a specific NVR channel, and many other improvements are also available. The latest firmware is now linked in the data sheets of individual products and in the "Downloads" tab.Signal measurements in TV/SAT systems.
The measuring device is one of the installer's basic tools. DIPOL has introduced the new Signal ST-5150 R10842 meter model. It can measure DVB-T/T2/C and DVB-S/S2 signals and has a built-in tuner for constant monitoring of the channel being set. The device allows the user to measure such parameters as signal level expressed in dBμV, C/N and MER parameters, so accurate setting of individual system components (dish, LNB, DVB-T/T2 antennas) and, in the case of more complex systems, multiswitches and amplifiers, poses no problem at all.and cable DVB-C signals.
- measurement of DVB-T/T2/C and DVB-S/S2 signals (fully compatible with MPEG-2/MPEG-4)
- DVB-T2 support with H.265
- measurement of all required parameters such as: signal level in dBμV, C/N, BER, MER
- monitoring of the analyzed channel on an LCD
- compass function
- percentage indication of signal strength and quality
- editable satellites, transponders, frequencies
- DiSEqC: 1.0, 1.1,1.2, 0/22 kHz Tone, Unicable (dSCR), wideband support
- short-circuit protection in satellite path (LNB)
- firmware updating via USB
5G antenna.
Dipol has introduced the 5G ATK-LOG ALP MIMO 2x2 A7064_10 antenna designed for use in GSM/DCS/UMTS/HSDPA/LTE/5G systems operating in the 698-3800 MHz range. It effectively solves the common problem of inadequate signal strength at the installation location of a modem with a GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G card.
Monitoring with remote display for multiple users.
Viewing images from a classroom or monitoring children in the kindergarten requires an efficient server that will deliver an image stream to the appropriate number of users. Such system is made possible when using Hikvision equipment and the free Hik-Connect service. It can make up a system with up to 64 users having simultaneous access to the connected cameras. Access rights can be modified individually for each account, so the administrator can decide for example which cameras can be viewed by a given user and whether he should have access to recordings. The schematic diagram of such a system is shown below.Self-supporting ZTT ADSS 24x9/125 ITU-T G.652D+ L7524 fiber optic cables are dielectric cables with a single-tube structure designed for overhead installations with up to 80-metre spans. They are reinforced with aramid fibers and two FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rods with a diameter of 0.58 mm embedded in the outer sheath.
The Hikvision DS-2CE78H0T-IT3F M75287 4 in 1 dome camera can be used in video surveillance systems based on various types of DVRs. The user can select the required video standard from among HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, or the legacy CVBS (ANALOG). The choice of the standard is made by the micro-switch located on the additional cable. The camera generates high quality image with 5 MP resolution. Thanks to high sensitivity of the image sensor (0.01 lx) and built-in IR illuminator made in EXIR 2.0 technology with range up to 40 m, the camera provides high quality video coverage even in low lighting conditions.
The active HDMI (AOC) 30 m H1305 fiber optic cable is used to connect a HDMI signal source to a monitor/TV located up to 30 meters away. The cable supports the HDMI 2.0 standard (18 Gbps bandwidth). It has a small diameter (4.5 mm) and does not require an external power supply (is powered from the HDMI port).
